In 2014, I was diagnosed and underwent treatment for breast cancer. God has blessed me with so many wonderful people who made the whole experience much more tolerable- constantly checking on me and expressing such kind gestures. I am so grateful and appreciative for all of those people, and one of them was Abbey. At the time, Abbey was a new friend at work who I heard had a spray tan machine business and this is the copy of our email exchange:
Me:
Hey, I don’t know how big your tanning machine is… but is there any way you can spray my head after work tomorrow? I know Im asking a lot but I really think I’ll feel so much better about my baldie once it’s all once color? If you can’t i can come to you, just let me know! I’ll pay you for your supplies, thanks!
Abbey:
Hi! So my tanning machine is not big at all and i can totally pack it. i can spray your head really light and try to match the color, i just worry that i may not be able to match 100%. But i am totally up for trying or i can give you a total spray tan (and you do not have to pay at all!). Let me know 🙂 And you are not asking a lot at all! If you want me to spray you every week, I am more than happy because we want you feeling as good as possible! If a simple spray tan helps you feel any bit better then that’s what needs to happen 🙂
Abbey sprayed me multiple times during that tough period after losing my hair, but the beautiful spray made me feel worlds better in my own skin. My “baldie” as I called it looked 1000 times better with that beautiful bronze glow to match the rest of my body. Abbey was incredibly sweet and such a special friend!
